Improving Cause-of-Death Reporting
This training will help you better understand why it is important to completely and accurately document causes of death on the death certificate. It will discuss how cause-of-death information is used, how to complete the death certificate, when to refer cases to the medical examiner or coroner, and where to find additional information.
The target audience for this course is physicians and other professionals responsible for certifying the medical information on the death certificate for deaths due to natural causes.
